By annexing Crimea, Russia has carried out an act of aggression against Ukraine. Currently Russia is transferring terrorist and sabotage groups to Eastern Ukraine. Russia aims to prevent legitimate presidential elections from happening. Everyday life in Eastern Ukraine has turned into a continuous nightmare in the middle of Europe. Our country is being destroyed right before our eyes. We therefore take the courage to inform you about current events in Ukraine. This is just another point of view. We will do our best to remain objective.

June 12 – Russian media have reported that Ukrainian military has used phosphorus bombs on civilians, which is completely untrue. To support the statement, Russian television channel showed the scenes shot in 2004 in Fallujah, Irak. This is a willful dissemination of misleading information.

June 12 – Ukrainian troopers have detained Oleksandr Fomenko, another "people's leader" of separatists.

June 12 – Russian terrorists have declared a "hunt" for the officials leading the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) – a video has been posted on the Internet. Terrorists are particularly interested in the activity of the commanders and deputy commanders of "Donbas" and "Azov" battalions.

June 12 – The Head of the Anti-Terrorist Center Vasyl Krutov believes that the border with Russia will be closed off in the nearest future. Anti-Terrorist Center is developing a rescue corridor in order to evacuate civilians from the ATO zone. June 12 – A motorcade of military machinery consisting of armored personnel carriers, tanks and other similar vehicles has crossed into Ukraine from Russia via the border crossing posts, previously seized by terrorists, informs Interior Minister Arsen Avakov. In the morning the vehicles were seen in the town of Snizhne (Donetsk oblast). Ukrainian military have attacked the motorcade and some vehicles were destroyed, according to Avakov. When mercenaries and weapons are being "dropped" into Ukraine, Russian airspace near the border is being constantly patrolled by "АВАКС А-50" plane ("Mainstay" NATO code) of the Russian Air Force. "The place is searching for Ukrainian military aviation, which could wreck the operation on transferring Russian mercenaries to Ukraine", stated Dmyto Tymchuk, the Head of the "Information Resistance" group.

June 12 – 16 children from the orphanage in the town of Snizhne were forcefully transported to Russia by the terrorists. They are currently staying in the refugee center in the city of Novoshakhtinsk (Rostov oblast). 9 children and their guardian were able to escape at the Russian border.

June 12 – President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has had a telephone conversation with the President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

Lessons from the Maidan

The West can't stand idly by while Putin has his way with Ukraine – and with his own people. 

While the inauguration of President PetroPoroshenko on June 7 drew the curtain on the first act of Ukraine's national self-renewal, the end of the drama of the Maidan is nowhere in sight, and Ukraine's future is by no means secure. Some speculate about a "Chechnya scenario" for Ukraine: low-grade civil war, occasionally erupting into mass violence. Others imagine that what Vladimir Putin has in mind for parts of Ukraine is slow-motion absorption preceded by de facto Russian control, as has been Moscow's strategy of choice in the Transnistria region of Moldova. President Poroshenko is faced with building a government, jump-starting a crippled economy, pacifying areas where the rule of law has ceased (thanks to Russian-armed "separatists"), and negotiating with a Russian government that continues to mount a brazen campaign of lies and propaganda (the latest being Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov's June 6 attempt to wrap Russian aggression in Ukraine in the mantle of a defense of Russian Orthodoxy) – and doing these things all at once.

So Ukraine remains, today, a country in deep distress, politically and economically. But that was true in October 2013. What is different, today, is that Ukraine has undergone something like a revolution of conscience: what Greek Catholic archbishop Sviatoslav Shevchuk recently described as "an extended, inspired pilgrimage from fear and fraud to dignity and integrity." What began as a movement of resistance to a corrupt government that was, in effect, selling Ukraine's national future to Putin's Russia quickly evolved into a broad-based movement in defense of the elementary decencies of public life – a movement determined to rebuild civil society in Ukraine as the essential foundation for 21st-century Ukrainian democracy. As one Ukrainian activist described the feeling on the Maidan in Kyiv the day then-president Viktor Yanukovych fled to Russia, "We came to the Maidan looking for Europe, and instead found Ukraine."

That discovery remains to be secured. But even as the drama continues, there are important lessons that the West can, indeed must, learn from the Maidan: lessons that touch the lives and destinies of all the peoples of the North Atlantic alliance.

The first lesson: History continues.

It may be true, as Francis Fukuyama provocatively argued toward the end of the Cold War, that democracy and the free economy have proven themselves the victors in the debate over the future of politics and economics under the conditions of modernity. No sane person today argues that state ownership of the means of production is the path to justice, abundance, solidarity, or freedom. And even the enemies of democracy-rightly-understood use the language of democracy to describe what are essentially authoritarian systems: "managed democracy," "guided democracy," and so forth – names that summon up memories of those bogus "People's Democratic Republics" of the Cold War era, or the equally bogus "People's Republics" of the Arab Middle East.

Yet notwithstanding the kernel of truth in Fukuyama's argument, "history" manifestly continues. It continues because democracy and the free economy are not machines that can run by themselves. History continues because the essential complement to democratic politics and free economics is a vibrant public moral culture, capable of forming the citizens who can make free politics and the free economy work, so that the net result of these remarkable systems is liberty, justice, abundance, solidarity, and the other public elements of human flourishing. History continues because the great challenge within history is not the creation of the machinery of democracy and the free economy; difficult as that task may be in some circumstances, the even greater challenge is to nurture the public moral culture, embodied in the institutions of civil society, that ennobles political and economic freedom and prevents the machinery of democracy and the free economy from freezing up – or worse, from corrupting the very men and women, the citizenry, on whom the future of freedom ultimately depends.

The second lesson: "Europe" is – indeed "Europe" must be – more than a cornucopia.

The Maidan movement erupted in Kyiv and elsewhere in a spontaneous societal rejection of the Yanukovych regime's refusal to take the steps necessary to accelerate Ukraine's accession to the European Union, as the regime turned instead toward Putin's Russia. But as the Maidan evolved, it quickly became something different, something deeper and nobler, something more morally serious. As tensions mounted in Ukraine in the aftermath of Yanukovych's scuttle, my friend Bishop Borys Gudziak of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church called me late one night to reflect on what had happened on the streets of Kyiv in recent days. "Blood is serious," he said. "Blood makes people think. [And] there are very few people in Ukraine tonight who are thinking of Lady Gaga."

La Russie a commis un acte d'agression contre l'Ukraine et a annexé la Crimée. Depuis quelques semaines, la Russie met en place des groupes terroristes et des saboteurs dans les régions orientales de l'Ukraine. Son but – perturber les élections présidentielles légitimes. Actuellement la vie des habitants dans ces regions situées en plein milieu de l'Europe s'est transformée en un cauchemar continuel. On est en train de détruire notre pays devant nos propres yeux. Par conséquent, nous prenons notre courage à deux mains pour continuer à vous tenir aux courant des événements en Ukraine. C'est un point de vue parmi d'autres. Nous essayerons de rester objectifs.

Le 12 juin – Les informations propagées par les médias russes (les forces ukrainiennes auraient utilisé des bombes au phosphore contre des civils) ne sont pas vraies. La télévision russe a utilisé des images tournées en 2004 à Falloujah en Irak pour appuyer cette thèse. De nouveau des informations mensongères.

Le 12 juin – 16 orphelins d'un orphelinats de Snizhne (région de Donetsk) sont emmenés en Russie par les terroristes et se trouvent actuellement dans un camp de réfugiés à Novoshakhtinsk (région de Rostov). 9 enfants et leur educatrices ont pu s'échapper à la frontière russe.

Le sens du "Maidan" 

Depuis les six derniers mois, tout le monde et nous aussi observons l'activité politique féerique en Ukraine. Nous observons et en même temps, nous y par¬ticipons. Parfois, sans même s'en rendre compte. Et non seulement au niveau de toute une gamme de sentiments et d'inquiétudes, du désespoir au triomphe, de l'admiration à la colère.

Beaucoup d'observateurs pas très perspicaces voient le Maidan comme une certaine révolution ukrainienne locale ou même une rébellion. Une rébellion contre les kleptocrates, ou plus simplement, contre les petits voyous. Voila que le peuple ukrainien, toujours pacifique et gentil, n'a pas supporté une telle offense et s'est revolté. Il s'est révolté spontanément, comme il pouvait. C'est ainsi que l'on imagine ce qui s'est passé sur la Place d'Indépendance (place de Maidan) Kiev et en Ukraine.

Mais c'est un événement qui revêt une ampleur bien plus large. Et l'annexion de la Crimée par la Russie de Poutine, la menace d'une guerre à grande échelle entre l'Ukraine et la Russie, la confrontation de la Russie avec le monde entier sont des éléments dans une série des événements bien plus large dans laquelle Maidan a été une pierre fondamentale: elle s'était explosée et toute la construction de l'ordre mondiale crée en 1945 lors de la conférence d'Yalta s'est effondrée.

Dans le sens juridique international, le plus important, c'est que la conférence internationale d'Yalta et les conférences similaires fixent, c'est que "les accords doivent être respectés" – pacta sunt servanda.

Depuis plus de 100 ans, nous observons une chaine infinie de guerres qui se suivent.

La Première Guerre Mondiale a été suivie par la Seconde Guerre Mondiale. C'était une tentative de revanche non seulement pour revenir au monde d'avant, mais aussi pour imposer à l'Europe le "Nouvel ordre", c'est-à-dire, le nouveau système des relations et des solutions. Bien entendu, en position de force. Tous les accords signés auparavant ont été rejetés d'une manière démonstrative, théâtrale même. Le principe "pacta sunt servanda" a été rejeté. Rapellons-nous, comment Hitler a organisé la capitulation de la France: dans la même remorque ou l'Allemagne avait signé sa capitulation précédente. Le théâtre. La politique des signes et des symboles.

Récemment, le président russe Vladimir Poutine a déclaré le rattachement de la Crimée a la Russie dans la même ambiance.

Aujourd'hui sur calendrier de l'histoire russe, une chaine logique s'est définitivement construite: Lénine- Staline -Poutine. Je félicite les Russes. Même les noms de famille se ressemblent. Par exemple, comme Kim Il-sung, Kim Jong Il et Kim Jong-eun. Ou bien, comme ça: 김일성 – 김정일 – 김정은 -, c'est aussi jolie.

Lorsque le nouveau président Poutine déclarait publiquement ses plans de revanche, rapellons-nous la Conférence de Munich sur la sécurité (en allemand Münchener Sicherheitskonferenz, et an anglais Munich Security Conference), alors ce discours a été perçu comme une sorte d'extravagance politique.

Le discours de Poutine à Munich en 2007 a provoqué une explosion d'émotions politiques et hu¬maines: le choc, la colère, l'irritation, la frustration, la confusion, l'étonnement, l'admiration, la condam¬nation. L'on pouvait ne pas être d'accord avec lui, mais c'était là où il a ouvertement montré la position réelle de la Russie et sa vision du futur ordre mondial, il a secoué la vieille Europe et la fait réfléchir au sujet de ses propres priorités.

Il a accusé les Etats-Unis d'avoir imposé leurs propres normes juridiques et politiques dans d'autres pays, de compromettre la stabilité dans le monde dont une des principales menaces est le monopolisme du monde, le début d'une nouvelle course aux armements nucléaires, etc. Voici quelques citations du Président de la Fédération de Russie, qui illustrent le ton et l'accent du message de Russie: "Les Etats- Unis ont franchi toutes les limites, désormais, plus personne ne peut être défendu par le droit interna¬tional", "Les actions globales des Etats-Unis n'ont résolu aucun problème", "Le pouvoir que les Etats- Unis s'accordent, détruit ce pays de l'intérieur". On dirait le contenu d'une calomnie d'un revanchard. La même terminologie a été employée par le jeune Adolf Schicklgruber (Adolf Hitler 1889-1945). À l'époque, personne ne lui a prêté l'attention, à lui non plus.

Il est remarquable que le discours de Munich de Poutine est un résultat d'un événement qui a eu lieu en Ukraine en 2004. À savoir, le premier "Maidan" orange était... une tentative désespérée de l'Ukraine de s'échapper de la sphère d'influence de la Russie, car à l'époque, le revanchard Poutine était déja le président de la Russie. La révolution orange, quel que soit son résultat, était l'élément déclencheur pour les revanchards russes. Ils ont commencé à mettre en oeuvre leurs plans du nouveau partage du monde. Ce n'est pas pour rien, que les premiers "plans" (faux ou pas) d'attaque russe sur l'Ukraine se sont apparu dans des sources publiques en 2008. Nous allons les considérer comme la pression psychologique sur l'Ukraine. Mais Poutine développait et réalisait des plans plus réalistes de l'occupation rampante" de l'espace post-soviétique y compris d'ailleurs non seulement les républiques post-soviétiques comme l'Ukraine et la Bielorussie mais aussi la Pologne, la Hongrie etc.

Quant à l'Ukraine, le plan de son absorption devait être plus délicat, c'est tout de même un grand pays. Il fallait l'apprivoiser de l'intérieur, non seulement en remplissant tous les organes de l'état par ses agents directs, du ministre de la Défense jusqu'au chef du Service de Sécurité. C'était impossible à cacher. Mais aussi par la démoralisation totale et la corruption. Les instituts d'État ukrainiens devraient se dissoudre dans le mélange venimeux de l'immoralité, du cynisme et de la corruption. Il a presque réussi. Il suffit de se rappeler qu'est-ce qu'est devenu le système judiciaire ou le Service de Sécurité.

Mais Poutine n'a pas pris en compte de la spécificité de la société ukrainienne. En tout cas, de la ma¬jorité. Elle a changé. Pas comme celle-là dont il a l'habitude, pas comme celle-ci que lui-même a forme en Russie: muette, cynique a l'intérieur, revancharde.

Et c'est pour cette raison qu'à la fin de 2013, le nouveau Maidan, que l'on a surnommé l'Euromaidan, s'est éclatée en Ukraine. Ce n'était pas qu'une protestation contre une tentative exponentielle d'humilier et de ramener à l'obéissance la société ukrainienne, c'est-à-dire, refuser de signer l'accord avec l'association en obéissant à l'ordre de Poutine. C'était une explosion du proteste contre le cynisme sauvage et l'immoralité du gouvernement de l'époque. C'était une protestation de la dignité.

Pourquoi le Maidan 2013-2014 a-t-il gagne? Parce qu'il a gagné, il a remporté une belle victoire et la meilleure preuve de cela est une hystérie de Poutine qui a perdu son sang-froid en commençant la guerre russo-ukrainienne en Crimée. Quelqu'un dit que cela n'est pas une guerre mais juste une intervention. Et non, les guerres sont différentes. La Russie a mené la cyberguerre avec la minuscule Estonie en 2007, la guerre "chaude" avec la Georgie en 2008. La guerre de 2014 avec l'Ukraine est une guerre à évincer.

Le "Maidan" a gagné parce qu' il s'est retrouvé dans la tendance mondiale, tout comme le mouve¬ment polonais "Solidarność", le mouvement lituanien "Sajudis" et comme "Mouvement populaire de l'Ukraine". Les deux mondes se sont rentrés en collision sur le Maidan, le monde pour lequel le proverbe

"pacta sunt servanda" a du sens et l'autre monde, celui du revanchisme et de la violence "il fine giusti¬fica i mezzi" (la fin justifie les moyens).

Le Maidan est devenu non seulement le creuset de cristallisation de la nation politique ukrainienne moderne, mais il est aussi une pierre angulaire pour le monde entier.

Le futur ordre mondial dépend de la réaction du monde sur la provocation de Poutine. Soit les Etats- Unis et l'Union Européenne disent oui à ça sans aller à la confrontation mise à part des sanctions décora¬tives contre quelques personnes ou bien, ils acceptent le défi.

Le Maidan a souligné de principaux problèmes de la géopolitique moderne. Avant, de nombreux hommes politiques occidentaux ont essayé de se cacher pour ne pas réaliser à qui ont-ils l'affaire dans la personne de Poutine. Alors, là, Poutine est un "Poutine collectif", des forces revanchardes qui aujourd'hui se sont retrouvées en Russie.

Le Maidan est devenu un trou étroit à travers duquel nous pouvons voir l'avenir. Non seulement l'avenir ukrainien, mais l'avenir de tout le monde. Le principal est de tirer de bonnes conclusions de ce que l'on a vu grâce au "Maidan". L'avenir est l'avenir, tant qu'il n'est pas condamné. Nous pouvons tout faire comme nous voulons. Mais pour cela, il faut vouloir le faire. Vouloir changer le monde. Mais pour le mieux. Réaliser le rêve de ceux qui défendaient le "Maidan" durant de longues nuits glaciales. Pas l'Ukrainien. Non seulement l'Ukrainien. Mais l'Européen.

12. Juni – Leiter des Antiterrorzentrums Wasyl Krutow erklärte, dass die Grenze zu Russland in den nächsten Tagen abgesperrt werden soll. Das Antiterrorzentrum arbeite derzeit an der Einrichtung eines Rettungskorridors für Evakuierung der Zivilbevölkerung aus dem Gebiet, wo die Anti-Terror-Operation durchgeführt wird. Krutow erinnerte an das Amnestieangebot für die Separatisten, die die "Grenze nicht übertreten hätten".

12. Juni – Von Russland aus ist eine Militärkolone aus Schützenpanzern, Panzern und gepanzerten Fahrzeugen über die von Terroristen besetzten Grenzübergänge in die Ukraine gekommen, erklärte der Innenminister Arsen Awakow. Am Morgen befanden sich die Panzer in Snishne (Gebiet Donezk). Sie wurden von ukrainische Truppen angegriffen. Laut Awakow sei nach einem Gefecht "ein Teil dieser Kolone vernichtet". Bei der Einschleusung der Freischärlergruppen und von Waffen in die Ukraine patrouilliert ein russisches AVAC-Flugzeug vom Typ A-50 (Nato-Code Mainstay) im russichen Luftraum an der ukrainischen Grenze. "Seine Aufgabe ist, ukrainischer Militärflugzeuge zu entdecken, die solche Schleusungen von russischen Freischärlern in die Ukraine verhindert könnten", teilte der Leiter des "Informationswiderstands" Dmytro Tymtschuk mit.

12. Juni – 16 Waisenkinder aus einem Kinderheim aus Snishne wurden von russischen Terroristen mit Gewalt nach Russland verschleppt und befinden sich derzeit in einem Flüchtlingscamp in Nowoschachtinsk (Gebiet Rostow). Neun Kinder und ihre Betreuerin konnten an der russischen Grenze fliehen.

12. Juni – Präsident der Ukraine Petro Poroschenko hat ein Telefonat mit dem russischen Präsidenten Wladimir Putin geführt.

Rosja dokonała aktu agresji przeciw Ukrainie, anektując Krym. Teraz Rosja wprowadziła grupy terrorystyczno-dywersyjne na Wschodnią Ukrainę. Cel jej działań- zapobiec legalnym wyborom prezydenckim na Ukrainie. Dlatego dziś życie mieszkańców Wschodniej Ukrainy pozostaje ciągłym horrendum w środku Europy. Na naszych oczach niszczą nasz kraj. Dlatego bierzemy na siebie odwagę informować państwa o wydarzeniach na Ukrainie. To jest jeszcze jeden punkt widzenia. My postaramy się być uczciwymi.

12 czerwca – Rosyjskie media rozpowszechniły informację, jakoby ukraińskie siły bezpieczeństwa używają bomb fosforowych przeciwko cywilom, co jest zupełnym kłamstwem. Na poparcie tych bredni rosyjska telewizja użyła zdjęcia z 2004 roku z Faludży w Iraku. Jest to kolejna umyślna dezinformacja w totalnej wojnie informacyjnej FR przeciwko Ukrainie.

12 czerwca – W Mariupolu ukraińskie żołnierzy zatrzymali kolejnego "ludowego" herszta separatystów Aleksandra Fomenkę.

12 czerwca – Rosyjscy terroryści ogłosili "polowanie" na przywódców Operacji Antyterrorystycznej, publikując wezwanie w Internecie. Szczególną uwagę terroryści obdarzają dowódców i zastępców dowódców batalionów ochotników "Donbas" i "Azow".

12 czerwca – Dowódca Centrum Antyterrorystycznego Wasyl Krutow oświadczył, że już skoro granica z Rosją zostanie zablokowana. В подтверждение этого российское ТВ использовало кадры, снятые в 2004 году в городе Эль-Фаллуджа, Ирак. Опять сознательная дезинформация.

12 июня – В Мариуполе украинские военные задержали очередного "народного" лидера сепаратистов Александра Фоменко.

12 июня – Российские Террористы объявили "охоту" на руководителей Антитеррористической операции – видеообращение в Интернете. Особое внимание террористов привлекла деятельность командиров и заместителей командиров батальонов "Донбасс" и "Азов".
