has been three months since
the confrontation of the President
Viktor Yanukovych with the people
of Ukraine began. Yesterday the conflict took
on a threatening form. Current situation
may result in a civil war.
Thus we take
it upon ourselves
to inform you about the
events in Ukraine. We will
provide you with yet another
viewpoint regarding this conflict. We will do
our best to remain fair
and objective. March
4 Germany is calling for prompt
solutions to crisis in Crimea
using diplomatic measures and threatens
Russia with sanctions to be
imposed as early as Thursday,
March 7th. This statement was made
by Frank-Walter Steinmeier,
Germanys Foreign Minister. March
4 during his press-conference, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said
that so far
there is no necessity to
use armed forces in Crimea
but if the
grounds appear, the military can
be used. Russian army continues
to block Ukrainian military units in Crimea. March
4 Turkish Air Forces reacted with eight fighters
F-16 in order to intercept Russian
reconnaissance aircraft, which flew along
Black Sea coast of Turkey. March
4 US Secretary of State John Kerry
arrived in Kyiv. He said
that the latest activity of Russia in
Crimea is an intervention. March
4 the USA provided Ukraine with a loan of 1 billion
dollars. March
4 flagship Sahaydachnyi
of Ukrainian Naval Forces has
returned to Black Sea leading
the aircraft carriers of US Navy. The US sent
their aircraft carrier USS George HW Bush to the
Black Sea due to the
Russian military intervention in Crimea. Aircraft carrier is followed
by seventeen other ships and
three submarines. Aircraft carrier USS George HW Bush is carrying 90 planes, including various helicopters and several fighters
F-22 Raptor. Every submarine has twenty
four missile launch facilities for nuclear warheads. P.S.
