Ukraine. Russian troops have entered Crimea. Thus we take it upon ourselves to
inform you about the events in Ukraine. We will provide you with yet another
viewpoint regarding this conflict. We will do our best to remain fair and

10 – Former President of Ukraine Viktor
Yanukovych and his entourage stole
77,2 billion UAH by using “their” banks. April
10 – Former president of Poland Aleksander
Kwasniewski thinks that the President
of Russia Vladimir Putin doesn't plan to
stop after the annexation of Crimea or
Eastern Ukraine. “This step is
supposed to put Putin on
the list of the greatest
leaders of his state, such
as Peter I and Catherine II, and return the
status of a superpower to Russia,”
said Kwasniewski. April
10 – Council of Europe Assembly backed a resolution to withdraw the
voting rights of Russia's delegation
as a result of Crimea’s annexation.
The ban lasts
until the end of 2014. April
10 – Crimea residents have been refusing
to become Russian citizens – approximately 100-120 people are backing out
of an invitation
to accept Russian citizenship. April
10 – Ukraine is calling on international
partners to start the development
of a new security system in Europe, stated
Ukraine’s Prime-Minister Arseniy
Yatsenyuk during Kyiv Security Forum. April
10 – Russian military buildup on Ukraine’s
eastern border are “at a state
of advanced readiness” and could deploy “within
12 hours from a decision taken at the highest
level”, stated Brigadier Gary Deakin the director
of NATO’s Comprehensive Crisis and Operations Management Center. April
10 – On Thursday morning three ships
– one from the US (US Navy
destroyer Donald Cook) and two
from France (large reconnaissance ship of French
Navy Dupuy de Lome and
frigate Dupleix) have passed through
Dardanelles. They haven’t confirmed the terminal point
