Russia has carried out an act of aggression towards Ukraine. Russian troops have entered Crimea. Thus we take it upon ourselves to inform you about the events in Ukraine. We will provide you with yet another viewpoint regarding this conflict. We will do our best to remain fair and objective.

March 10 – Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea has drafted a decision on joining the rouble zone.

March 10 – During the night Russian servicemen have occupied a separate missile weaponry brigade in the city of Chornomorsk. In Bakhchysarai, Volodymyr Sadovnyk – earlier kidnapped Commanding Officer of the automotive battalion of the military regiment #А2904 – has turned his regiment over to Russian invaders. They are also taking the airport in Novofedorivka by assault. Unknown civilians, who are calling themselves “Crimean self-defense” have occupied part of the airport of navy aviation brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Novoozerne. In Simferopol Russian servicemen have occupied an army hospital and cut off the electricity to previously blocked headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

March 10 – The US are transferring 12 fighter jets F-16 and 300 servicemen to Poland. The US have already transferred 6 fighter jets F-15 to Lithuania.

March 10 – On March 21st Ukraine may sign the political chapters of the Association Agreement with the EU.

March 10 – In the village of Chongari (Crimean border) separatists opened fire and wounded an activist, who was carrying humanitarian aid intended for Ukrainian servicemen.

March 10 – The rest of Ukrainian television channels have been switched off in Simferopol.
