Ukraine. Russian troops have entered Crimea. Thus we take it upon ourselves to
inform you about the events in Ukraine. We will provide you with yet another
viewpoint regarding this conflict. We will do our best to remain fair and

12 – Moscow stated that the annexation
of the southeastern
regions of Ukraine to Russia
contradict the fundamental interests of Russia, Minister
of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov said live
on the air

12 – Russian military soldiers with unrecognizable
symbols on their uniforms appeared in several
cities in the Donetsk oblast
– Slovyansk, Kramatorsk and Yenakievo. They seized local
police precincts and buildings of
the local council with the
help of local
residents. April
13 – Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen
Avakov announced the start of
anti-terrorist operations in the city
of Slovyansk in the Donetsk
oblast. He informed that those
that seized the local police
precincts in Slovyansk opened fire. As a result,
Ukrainian law enforcers and separatists
were killed and suffered injuries.

13 – If official Kyiv applies force
against insurgents in south-eastern Ukraine, Russia will not participate
in negotiations between Russia, the U.S., Ukraine and the EU scheduled
to be held
in Geneva concerning the current situation in Ukraine, the
Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
informed based on the results
of talks between Russian Minister of Foreign
Affairs Serhiy Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State
John Kerry. In response, John
Kerry called on Russia to
withdraw their troops from Eastern
Ukraine, noting that the local
demonstrations are the result of
instigation and direct intrusion of Russia. Maidan
