events in Ukraine. We will

13 – in Donetsk pro-Russian
hit men attacked
people at the Rally for
Unity in Ukraine. One supporter
of Ukraine’s sovereignty was killed, dozens heavily wounded. March
14 – Rinat Akhmetov, a
Donetsk-based oligarch has condemned the actions
of separatists and spoke about
his support of Ukraine’s sovereignty. March
14 – Convoy of Russian heavy machinery
has started moving towards Perekop isthmus, Ukrainian mainland. March
14 – Some Crimean residents have organized a human chain to show
support for Ukraine’s sovereignty. March
14 – Ivan Šimonović,
UN Assistant Secretary-General for
Human Rights believes that citizens
of another country participate in protest rallies
in Ukraine. The closest “other
country” is Russia. March

Crimea. Only 25% of Russians and
Russian-speaking residents of
Ukraine support the separation of Crimea or
Donbas, whereas the majority (approx.

situation in Ukraine. If Russian
Federation tries to annex Crimea,
tough sanctions will follow, said

receiving military and technical assistance
from the US and NATO, but state
protection is the responsibility of Ukrainian Army,

Turchynov has suspended the effect
of the Declaration
on the independence
of the Autonomous
Republic of Crimea and the
city of Sevastopol,
