has carried out an act
of aggression towards Ukraine. Russian troops have entered Crimea.
Thus we take
it upon ourselves
to inform you about the
events in Ukraine. We will
provide you with yet another
viewpoint regarding this conflict. We will do
our best to remain fair
and objective. April
1 – Germany's Federal Minister of Finance
Wolfgang Schäuble stated that Russia’s
annexation of Crimea can be
compared to 1939 Nazi invasion, which resulted in the occupation
of German-speaking parts of Czechoslovakia. April
1 – The accounts of the Ministry
of Defence of Ukraine have
been replenished with over 70 million
UAH – the money is being received
within a public appeal to help
Ukrainian Armed Forces. April
1 – NATO’s Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen is not confirming
the withdrawal of Russian troops
from Ukrainian borders and is
calling on Moscow to start
the de-escalation of current situation.
Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel is
displeased with the level of
withdrawal of Russian troops from the border
with Ukraine. April
