Russia has carried out an act of aggression towards Ukraine. Russian troops have entered Crimea. Thus we take it upon ourselves to inform you about the events in Ukraine. We will provide you with yet another viewpoint regarding this conflict. We will do our best to remain fair and objective.

March 29 – Extraordinary sitting of Kurultai of Crimean Tatar People has begun in Crimea. Kurultai announced the start of political and legislative procedures to create a national and territorial Autonomy of Crimean Tatar People within its historic area – Crimea.

March 29 – Crimea, which became a part of Russia, will not be able to leave Russian Federation, said Vladimir Pligin, Head of State Duma’s Constitution Committee.

March 29 – “Batkivshchyna” party has nominated Yulia Tymoshenko for the post of the President of Ukraine.

March 29 – “UDAR” party is supporting a nomination of Petro Poroshenko for the post of the President of Ukraine. Leader of “UDAR” Vitali Klitschko will be contesting at mayoral elections in Kyiv.

March 29 – “Svoboda” has nominated Oleh Tyahnybok for the post of the President of Ukraine.

March 29 – Belarus will never invade the territory of Ukraine, said acting President of Ukraine and speaker of the Supreme Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov after the meeting with the President of Belarus Aleksander Lukashenko.

March 29 – Russian army – servicemen and military vehicles – are continuing maneuvers at Ukrainian borders.

March 29 – Ukraine must appeal to International Criminal Court in Hague in order to institute a claim against persons who carried out the invasion of Crimea, stated former Prime-Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko. She also emphasized that clear financial claims must be presented to Russia for Crimea’s annexation.
