Russia has carried out an act of aggression towards Ukraine. Russian troops have entered Crimea. Thus we take it upon ourselves to inform you about the events in Ukraine. We will provide you with yet another viewpoint regarding this conflict. We will do our best to remain fair and objective.

April 7 – With support from Russian intelligence services, separatists have occupied the premises of state authorities in Luhansk and Donetsk. Separatists in Luhansk have also seized arms. The building of state administration has been cleared of separatists in Kharkiv. A plan to justify the invasion of Russian troops into Eastern oblasts of Ukraine is being implemented, said Ukraine’s Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk. He also believes that Russian troops are stationed within a 30 kilometer zone close to Ukrainian border.

April 7 – On Monday morning separatists in Donetsk have received an action plan from the coordination center in Russia, writes the leader of the group “information Resistance” Dmytro Tymchuk. In the plan – a point on creating a coordination center “Donetsk Republic”, which is going to be used to coordinate the actions of separatists in other oblasts, as well as a point on holding the referendums regarding the state system of Ukraine. Also previous Kremlin plan was corrected – a point on annexation of southeastern oblasts of Ukraine is missing. According to some data, Moscow now realizes that before they “digest” Crimea, they will not be ready to “bite off” the East of Ukraine.

April 7 – Miloš Zeman, President of the Czech Republic believes that in case Russia invades the East of Ukraine, NATO must station their troops in Ukraine.

April 7 –April 5, 2014, at the ‘Krasna Talovka’ border check point (Luhansk region) the Security Service of Ukraine jointly with the border officers detained a Russian citizen Bannykh Roman Serhiiovych, who was trying to cross the national border of Ukraine in order to organize and coordinate separatist actions in Luhansk. Mr.Bannykh, (born in 1985), registered at the address of a military unit 13204 which is a part of the Main Intelligence Department of the Russian Federation Armed Forces General Staff, organized and coordinated the activities of subversive groups in Ukraine from Russia. These conspiratorial groups were intended to overthrow the constitutional order, take-over the government, commit terrorist acts, incite separatism and destabilize the situation in the eastern regions of our country.

April 7 – Ukraine’s intelligence authorities have started an anti-terrorism operation against separatists and Russian subversive groups.
