Intellectual charity

In late November the editorial office of the journal “Ji” realized the charity event. Apart from traditional quarterly free distribution of the journal to more than 150 largest libraries in Ukraine (among them regional and town public libraries, university and higher school libraries, libraries at some institutes and state agencies) about 400 samples of the journal and other printed material were sent out to the town, district and some village libraries of the western part of Ukraine. The gift-books and journals were marked with the inscription “The gift of journal ‘Ji’”. The quarterly review, as the public organization, together with the leading L`viv scholars and intellectuals pursues not only the goal to develop the advanced vision of political, social and cultural processes in Ukraine and world-wide but to spread the ideas and conceptions generated from it among the broader public of Ukraine. The editorship considers its charity activity as one of several main functions of the journal.
